Well, its been a while since ive really thought out of my comfort zone and i thought i needed to get a taste of something new and adventurous( sorry for spelling ) . I have decided to create a short (30min) action film featuring a few fight scenes, a fast paced car chase in an abbandened runway, and one extreme stunt using a car . my inspiration came from watchingthe car chase on bad boys 2 and also a lot of asian cinema like ong bak. it was this inspiration that spurred me on. why do i have to do an illustration based project because i love illustration? why cant i do something i love like films, i know im jumping into the deep end but i think it could really work and with the time and effort and help from others to accomplish this feet, itll work, and hopefully very well. i hope to start filming very soon, i have done a few storyboards that need to be further anylised by the people helping me in my film. so far i have recruited 2 main actors. one being my brother in law james thomas who has been in martial arts culture for over 10 years, and also is involved in the making of a film with other martial artist figures in london based film production (east/west studios) which has been involved in films such as the quest, and others . I am lucky to have these kind of contacts as it will help me trumps with my production and ideas. lets hope it all works out ok :)
